Infrastructure Leaders Network
The Infrastructure Leaders Network (ILN) provides ongoing opportunities for senior infrastructure leaders to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other.
The Infrastructure Leaders Network (ILN) brings together senior leaders across the public sector to foster knowledge-sharing and sector-wide leadership development. The network hosts regular meet-ups, masterclasses, communities of practise and an active LinkedIn group.
Meet-ups
We host regular Infrastructure Leaders Network meet-ups to give you an opportunity to connect, discuss your experiences, and engage in peer learning. These sessions are designed to create a trusted environment where you can openly share the challenges you are facing, seek advice, and collaborate on solutions.
Meet-ups are exclusively for senior public sector leaders—SROs, Project Directors, and those responsible for leading major infrastructure projects. By engaging with this network, you can build valuable relationships, gain peer support, and develop the skills necessary for effective infrastructure leadership.

Communities of Practice
Te Waihanga co-hosts an Asset Management Community of Practice. This community gives infrastructure leaders a structured environment for ongoing discussion, peer learning, and collaborative problem-solving.
These forums bring together leaders with shared responsibilities to explore sector-wide challenges and co-develop best-practice guidance. The current focus is on asset managers, delivered in partnership with Āpōpō, the professional association for infrastructure asset management professionals.
Future sessions may also include SROs and other infrastructure leadership roles.
