Latest Pipeline Snapshot for the June-September quarter published

PUBLISHED 21 NOVEMBER 2025

The latest Pipeline snapshot for the June-September quarter has been released.

The National Infrastructure Pipeline (the Pipeline) is New Zealand’s national dataset of infrastructure project information. It provides a forward view of infrastructure project activity that is used to inform decision-making and facilitate coordination and planning within and across regions, between sectors, in our construction markets, and in developing the workforce we need.

The September 2025 Pipeline update included $181 billion of initiatives underway and in planning which were reported as having full funding, part funding or a confirmed funding source. This value represents an increase of $56 billion relative to the June 2025 Pipeline update, which included $125 billion of initiatives with the same funding status.

In total, 129 organisations now contribute to the Pipeline, up 37% on 12 months ago.
