New guide for Senior Responsible Owners

We have published a new practical guide for Senior Responsible Owners (SROs) and leaders accountable for major public sector infrastructure investments.

Public sector infrastructure projects are complex, high value, and highly scrutinised. Engagement with agencies and infrastructure leaders shows that while the SRO role is critical to delivery success, expectations can be unclear, inconsistent, or overly implicit across the system.  

The intent of the new guide is to strengthen the public sector’s ability to act as a capable, confident client of infrastructure, while maintaining accountability for public investment and public trust.
