Latest Pipeline Snapshot for the April - June quarter published

PUBLISHED 26 AUGUST 2025

We've released our latest Pipeline snapshot for the April - June quarter.

The National Infrastructure Pipeline (the Pipeline) is New Zealand’s national dataset of infrastructure project information. It provides a forward view of infrastructure project activity that is used to inform decision-making and facilitate coordination and planning within and across regions, between sectors, in our construction markets, and in developing the workforce we need.

With 121 organisations now contributing to the Pipeline, the value of initiatives reported as funded, part funded or with a confirmed funding source is now $125.1 billion, up $13.5 billion from March 2025. The value of initiatives in planning and without a funding source was $112 billion, up $16.7 billion from March 2025.

The combined value of all initiatives in the Pipeline, regardless of funding status, is $237.1 billion. This value represents an increase of $30.2 billion, up from $206.9 billion in the March 2025 Pipeline update.
