Maurice Davis (Ngāti Maniapoto) is a construction and infrastructure specialist with expertise in public transport, building products, and health and safety. He is on the boards of Mates-in-construction and Site Safe. He is the National Secretary for the Amalgamated Workers Union, which covers construction, infrastructure, building products and public transport.   Maurice has in-depth experience of health and safety, collective employment and industry wide agreements in an infrastructure and construction environment and has overseen major infrastructure projects including, Transmission Gully, Central Rail Link, Auckland Airport Northern and Southern corridor, Ports of Auckland, and the Waikato bypass.
