New Zealand faces some big challenges. We can’t afford to build the infrastructure we need to solve them all. The Infrastructure Priorities Programme (IPP) is a way for us to identify the top infrastructure issues and solutions - so we can be sure we’re making the right decisions.

On 20 July, we held a webinar to support the ongoing consultation that’s underway by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC).

During the webinar, DPMC panelists looked at why we must urgently enhance the resilience of our critical infrastructure system; what the benefits of a more robust regulatory approach to delivering critical infrastructure resilience would be; and what high level features such a regulatory approach are likely to include, including how they would interact with existing regulatory requirements.

The consultation closes on 8 August.
